Three Years of Impact: Jessica’s Journey as Owner

Three years ago, Jessica made the bold decision to purchase Art of Impact Salon & Spa and embark on a new chapter—not just in her career, but in her purpose. After nearly two decades behind the chair, she knew her next mission wasn’t just about creating beautiful hair—it was about building something bigger. A brand. A team. An Impact.

The Leap That Started It All

But just weeks after stepping away from her loyal clientele to take on the role of full-time owner, life had other plans. Jessica suffered a major injury that left her hospitalized with a broken knee. It was an unexpected and difficult chapter, but one that would shape the foundation of everything that came next.

With Jessica unable to physically be in the salon, two team members—Juliana and Heather—stepped up to keep things afloat. Their leadership and grit helped hold the salon together during those early weeks, and with time, healing, and vision, the rebuild began.

Resilience in the Rebuild

Following her recovery, Jessica focused fully on strengthening the team and systems. Over a year, Art of Impact saw incredible growth—only to be met once again with another challenge. A few months later, the team unexpectedly shrank down to just two stylists on the floor, alongside one esthetician and one front desk team member.

It was a humbling season, but one that fueled Jessica’s fire even more. With clear intention, she rebuilt—this time with deep roots in culture, education, and alignment. Today, Art of Impact Salon & Spa is nearly at full capacity, proudly home to 10 stylists, an esthetician, a guest experience/marketing lead, and Jessica at the helm—with new applications still coming in regularly.

She meets with each team member one-on-one every two weeks, offering mentorship, goal-setting, and meaningful conversation about not just their work, but their growth as people. From technical education to leadership development, Jessica ensures everyone has access to the tools, knowledge, and support they need to thrive.

In 2025, Art of Impact launched our luxury hair extension line, Impact. Hair Extensions—a bold move that positioned the salon not just as a service provider, but as an industry innovator. This brand was born from Jessica’s vision to offer high-end, ethically sourced hair options that elevate the guest experience and empower stylists to grow their craft.

Today, Art of Impact isn’t just a salon—it’s a movement. With almost every chair filled, a full education calendar, and a team culture rooted in purpose, the next chapter is already unfolding behind the scenes. The story is still being written—and it’s one of resilience, leadership, and unmatched growth.
