What brand of hair do you use?
We carry our own exclusive line of IMPACT. Hair Extensions. Our extensions are made from 100% Remy human hair, ethically sourced, double-drawn, and with the cuticles intact, ensuring the highest quality and a natural, luxurious feel.
How long does the hair last?
With proper care, IMPACT. Weft Extensions can last between 9 to 12 months. Regular maintenance appointments every 5-7 weeks will help keep your extensions looking flawless and ensure they remain in great condition.
How often do I need move-up or maintenance appointments?
For weft extensions, we recommend coming in for move-up or tightening appointments every 5-7 weeks to ensure your extensions stay secure and blend seamlessly as your natural hair grows.
Will extensions damage my natural hair?
When applied correctly and cared for properly, extensions will not damage your natural hair. At your initial appointment, we’ll show you how to care for your extensions and send you home with the necessary products, including an extensions brush.
Some of our extension packages also include full-size products, such as professional shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in treatments, so you have everything you need to keep your extensions looking their best.
How long does my hair need to be to qualify for extensions?
For wefts, we recommend at least shoulder-length hair.
If your hair is shorter, don’t worry! We offer other methods that are ideal for shorter hair or unique circumstances.
Can I wear my hair up with extensions?
Yes, absolutely! Wefts are considered luxury extensions because they blend seamlessly and feel natural in the hair. You can easily wear your hair up, even in a high ponytail, and it will stay concealed and undetectable, even as the extensions grow out.
Is there a lot of daily maintenance involved?
Not really! In fact, many of our clients find that extension hair holds styles and curls much longer than natural hair, which means you can go longer between washes and styling.
The most important daily care tasks are brushing and oil application on the ends to keep them hydrated. Don’t worry, we’ll send you home with after-care instructions that cover everything you need to know!
What’s the difference between Hand-Tied Extensions and Wefts?
Great question! Hand-Tied Extensions refer to the method of the extension hair being sewn, while Wefts refer to the larger extension method that hand-tied hair falls under.
The beaded weft method involves creating a bead foundation around the head, and then sewing the wefts onto the beads. This creates a natural, seamless blend for your extensions.
